The following table gives the weeks in which the Geums in the garden were in flower in 2012 and 2013.
The weather in these years was quite different - in 2012 the spring was early and in 2013 it was late. This can be seen in the relative dates - of the 89 plants for which records are shown for both years, in 2013 54 started flowering later, 46 finished flowering later and 45 flowered for a shorter time. Other factors could influence the length of flowering, for instance a plant flowering for a shorter time may be old and need dividing.
The heights and flower diameters were measured in 2013.
